Polyester or cotton stuffing?
I'm wanting to buy this game bed http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Branches-Black-7-piece-Bedding-Ensemble/3046501/product.html? However, it is full of cotton. I'd rather poofy, large quilts, so I'm worried this will not work but can not be said of the image. Thus Even better, filled with polyester, cotton or full? Down is simply too expensive for my budget.
Washing and drying polyester filled comforters and duvet covers is much simpler to deal with cotton filled. The cotton is filled with water in the washer and the agitator does weight work against himself, causing wear and machine quilt. Then you need to dry, which takes time, which uses more power. Of course, they are not doing all day, so that energy is a prudent consideration. Furthermore, polyester stuffing is like water off a duck's back. This does not hold water, like cotton and washed with less wear on the quilt. Also you lose a lot of moisture in the spin cycle, because it is absorbent, such as cotton. And it allows the rest of the free moisture in the hair – but you must be careful not to over heat.
